July 2002 Mid Year Update Founding Director Wilson McOrist issued the following summary of the first six month of the year 2002. "The growth for Computer Troubleshooters over the past six months has exceeded all expectations. At the core level, that of the individual Computer Troubleshooter franchisee, we have: - a) Many operators now billing over $200,000 annually, and one billing over $750,00 annually. The gross sales continue to be predominately based on service hours, and most operations are still one or two man businesses, so the net profit for franchise owners remains very high. b) Many operators who have branched into retail locations, in the USA, Australia, New Zealand and in the United Kingdom. c) Many operators have also taken on additional staff to help cater for the influx of work. We remain the World's Number 1 Computer Service Network, with over 130 stores now operating, in nine countries. To our knowledge, we are the only truly global network. Well-controlled but continuing growth continues as a direct result of the unique organizational structure of Computer Troubleshooters. Unlike other franchise organizations who work from a large and costly head-office ""corporate"" structure, Computer Troubleshooters utilizes a distributed management team, through Regional Directors. Locally based Regional Director provide the perfect solution to best practice management for the good of Computer Troubleshooter franchisees, and our customers. A special thank you is extended to all franchisees in the team, and to all Regional Directors. We anticipate continued prosperity and increased goodwill for Computer Troubleshooters. Wilson McOrist""
